The agricultural simulation model CAPRI needs to be developed in order to analyse how the objectives of the Green Deal can be achieved in an efficient way. This project focuses on inputs such as crop nutrients, pesticides and antibiotics, and greenhouse gas emissions. The results will be useful to analyse policy instruments linked to the Green Deal in CAPRI and other simulation models that the European Commission uses (e.g. AGMEMOD, MAGNET and GLOBIOM). The project, which ends in 2029, is funded by EU Horizon 2020 and is carried out in collaboration with an international consortium.
