The market for veterinary services for companion animals has expended substantially and veterinarians choose to focus on pets instead of livestock animals. This could lead to problems in securing veterinary services for livestock farmers and food control. The project analyses if the development is caused by market failure in the market for veterinary services and, if so, if there are efficient measures that could improve the functioning of the market.

The project will be finalised in autumn 2020.
